In theory, that is, the abovementioned awesomeness. Those damn widgets and apps and whatnot should start doing what they promised me they’d do: merrily buzz these ramblings all over the internetz.

“Now wouldn’t it be great to shout something on the Twitterz and have it out there on the Facebookz as well?” we were wondering the past days and decided to try and find out. Turned out that Hootsuite does that mojo real well, so that’s settled.

The we figured that, since these posts are announced on the Twitterz, we should try and get them out to dem damn Facebookz. And guess what: we might have found an app that does just that.

Let’s give it a try, is what we say. Gotta get the word out there – ain’t no stopping this Galactic Tour no more!

Some lyrics came by and decided to stay for a jam, plus we got a couple of nore grooves in store for y’all, so you might wanna dial in to Ustream somewhere around Noon SLT on Saturday the 29th.

And waddaya know. It’s a Fool Moon’s Day as well.

Now howz about that?

So our uplink bandwidth will more than double in a month from now. There’s great awesomeness in that, is what I say: video and audio should be streamable simultaneously. Now what if we could stream the SL video and audio into uStream and stick the uStream feed on a prim with a video texture?

The mind boggles.

There definitely is some serious stuff happening here. Last night, for instance, we met with a friend in SL who’s into building these vast stages with fractals and stuff flying all over the walls and whatnot. We set up a couple of showdates at her new place and there just might be some videos of hers that could use a soundtrack, later on in the year.

And then there’s the Galactic Tour jams, man, gotta tell ya: they’re indeed a very compelling experience. Been a long time (25 years or so) since we’ve had the opportunity to lay down dem grooves like this, with someone else. Live and direct. One plus one can equal a whole lot more than two, you betcha.

With the sound dialed in better and better every time, and lotsa time ahead of us, that will no doubt mean more jams to come your way all over the Internetz.

Peace, y’all.

Uh-huh. We’re really getting it down now, brother Silas and us. Madame has returned from her family visit, by the way. She loves to sit in and hit those keys. Haven’t heard her talking very much about SL ever since she came back, though.

Anyways.

Getting the sound dialed in is a very delicate and crucial thing. That’s for sure. But it can be done when the vibe is right.

Say no more.

It’s wonderful to do this stuff. We’ve come to the point where we look at each other, smile, and end the jam on the same note. Then we light up another note and take it from there.

Much more coming atcha in the days to come. On video and in SL – just follow the white rabbit down the Twitterz to catch us.

Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present: the RĂ˜DE NT1-A, also known as The World’s Quietest Studio Condenser Microphone. Coming right atcha live and direct from the Coolsounds & Magick Studios in Amsterdam, the Neverlands.

There’s a lot of that good old group dynamic shizzle going around amongst musicians. With all the drama that group dynamics have to offer. Especially in SL. I’m sure that’s no surprise to y’all.

But there’s also people out there who are just into music. Nothing more, nothing less. They just love it, that’s all they’re about. One of those people is Mr. Crap Mariner: he just launched a website called the Tunes inSL Gallery Project and you can read all about it here.

Big ups to Mr. Mariner, is what we say. The website link is in the sidebar on the left of the screen.

Due to popular demand, Mr. Scarborough (@silaswillrock on the Twitterz) and me have decided to prolongue the Galaxy Tour for another two weeks. First of all because the past two weeks passed by in the blink of an eye, but also because we wanna keep dem jams happening so we’ll have plenty of raw material to choose from for the upcoming live album.

Yes, dear people. A live album. Just like last year. It’s what we do at the Coolsounds & Magick Studios (apart from banging on the occasional Campbell soup can, cowbell or whatever else might be available at that particular moment in time): we release live albums.

I mean, like, since we’re jamming dem grooves up already, might as well record them and send them out into the world every now and then.
